Summer in NYC is always a little strange. The city feels busy due to the wave of tourists visiting for the summer, but at the same time there lies a certain emptiness due to the locals either away on travels or out in their vacation homes in the Hamptons. The hubby and I've been trying to leave a bit of leisure in our calendars, and it's been nice having a lazy morning every now and then. I also have to say (even though I'm a bit embarrassed to admit), that Pokémon Go has contributed to nightly walks in our neighborhood park post-dinner, and has been a nice way to spend our summer evenings by the water.
