Florence, capital of Italy’s Tuscany region, and land of the Renaissance, was as beautiful as I thought it would be, and more. We spent about two days just walking around, having the most delicious (HUGE) €5 sandwiches at All' Antico Vinaio and creamy rich gelato at Gelatoteca Santa Trinita. The uber chic Gucci Museo and Gucci Caffe was a delight. The Ponte Vecchio and historical bridges surroounding it were oh so memorable. Wish we had more time to visit all the museums the city had to offer, but there's always next time. Next post will be featuring the Four Seasons Firenze will we stayed, as well as a dedicated Tuscany travel story exploring the wineries we've visited and my friend's wedding. Stay tuned!
