Just a week after our move, the hubbie and I spent a much needed getaway on the west coast this past weekend at Terranea Resort. Pronounced terra-NAY-a, it is a 102-acre property located in Rancho Palos Verdes overlooking the Pacific Ocean just minutes south of Los Angeles. I've never visited this area before, and it was a delightful surprise. The atmosphere of the resort itself is described as"sophisticated, yet relaxed ambiance" and it was just that. It was quiet and serene, but at the same time the energy of all the guests and activities happening around the resort kept it upbeat. Good food matched with good company, I want to sincerely thank the team at Terranea for such a wonderful experience. We hope to return soon!
